About Our Cattery
Our kittens are house raised. Our queens love us and want us to be right there with them when they have babies. I am a feline veterinarian. My son, an aspiring veterinarian, sleeps right with the babies. When they start to crawl around, he is the first thing they find in their world. Since they sleep right with us from day one, they have had hundreds of hours of socialization before they come to join your in your loving home.
We love cats. All cats. We found Bengals particularly fascinating...like having a little bit of the wild animal park living right in our home! We enjoy being with the mother when she has babies, helping to dry them off and help them each find a nipple. We enjoy watching them grow and playing with them. Watching each of their individual personalities form is fascinating: they are each their own little being with thoughts, hopes and personalities all their own. Some take particularly to water, while some seem to instinctively know how to play fetch. It's fun to see who has come to be with us.
We always strive to give them the most natural. The most natural food, activities and living situation. In the wild, the family group is the mother and her daughters raising their families together. Please enjoy the following slideshow of our retired queen helping her daughter have her first litter. I was always amazed how she idin't want to go into active labor unless I was right there with a "paw" on her and looking into her eyes. I was even more astonished when she duplicated the behavior with her own daughter. Who taught who ?
Mother Bengal helping daughter give birth to Bengal Kittens. See how she places her paw on her daughter and looks into her eyes. Then they clean the kitten together and rest together.
Our Bengals are part of our family. We hope they bring you as much love and joy as they have brought to us. Please see the available kittens page.
